BALA VIDYA MANDIR

"As the divine Mother, Baba gave his immense love and as the divine Father, He gave direction to our search for truth. The people who follow His teachings and preaching are indeed blessed souls."

Why Bala Vidya Mandir?

"Children are the hope of the future and the builders of tomorrow". Our children growing up in America are constantly exposed to two different cultures. It can create confusion in the young minds. Parents have to make a conscious and sincere effort to educate them about our culture and traditions. It is important for the children to develop a sense of identity. At this tender age it is easy to cultivate devotion, discipline and a sense of pride in learning and following our customs and traditions.

Sai Samsthan USA started Bala Vidya Mandir to provide an opportunity for our children to experience our culture and traditions. Children will get together once a week in the sacred premises of Shri Shirdi Sai Baba Mandir in an atmosphere of interactive learning. Sunday classes are held from 11am to 12noon for children 3 years and older. A syllabus is being prepared for different age groups with emphasis on discipline, devotion and development of character. Children will learn tolerance and universal living based on the life and teachings of Shri Sai Baba of Shirdi. Recitation of slokas, singing bhajans and kirtans, and learning about our scriptures and traditions will be a part of the curriculum.
