Two factors have increased the funding requirement beyond the original estimates:

• Construction & material inflation: original estimates were prepared nearly two years before construction began; labor and material costs have risen significantly since.
• City-required parking improvements: the City of Aurora required parking-area additions as part of permit approval — not in the original scope, but necessary to proceed.

Mandir Expansion — approximately 4,000 sq. ft. of new space for the next 20+ years:

• New Meditation Hall (~4,000 sq. ft., single storey)
• New front desk office with improved coat & shoe area
• Upgraded bathrooms with handwashing area for pre-darshan ritual
• New HVAC system throughout
• Interior upgrades for uniformity across old and new sections
• Seamless exterior on all four sides — existing Baba altar unchanged
